Transparent pricingWhat Rail and Metro Uniforms Cost
PKR 9,500 - PKR 16,000 per person for a standard station set; PKR 900 - PKR 1,800 per hi-vis vest
Typical 2026 pricing in Faisalabad for a standard station set runs PKR 9,500 to PKR 16,000 per person, covering a blazer or waistcoat, two shirts, two trousers and a cap. Hi-vis vests add PKR 900 to PKR 1,800 each, and FR-treated coveralls run higher again. Bulk orders above 500 pieces drop the per-piece rate by 12 to 18 percent. We quote a fixed per-piece rate before production starts, so your budget does not move mid-contract.
The per-piece rate covers fabric, pattern, cutting, stitching, reinforcement, branding and inspection. A reinforced trouser that lasts 18 months instead of 8 halves your replacement spend across a large fleet, which is where the real saving sits on a multi-year uniform contract.
01Fabric Weight and Blend
Lighter poly-cotton for summer customer-facing roles costs less per metre than heavy poly-viscose for lined winter blazers. FR-treated cloth for track-side and maintenance roles carries the highest fabric cost, and it is the single biggest driver of the per-piece rate.
02Order Volume
Setup cost, sampling and pattern grading are spread across the run. A 500-piece order drops the per-piece rate by 12 to 18 percent against a 100-piece order, and a 2,000-piece contract drops it further. Volume is the easiest lever you control.
03Hi-Vis and Safety Trim
Stitched reflective tape to EN ISO 20471 Class 2 layout adds PKR 900 to PKR 1,800 per vest or jacket, depending on tape grade and coverage. FR-treated garments carry a further premium because of the fabric treatment and the labelling paperwork.
04Branding Complexity
A single embroidered chest logo is straightforward. Rank insignia, station names, individual staff names and multi-position branding add machine time per piece. Screen-printed back marks cost less than embroidery at high volume but do not last as long.
